Hey everyone, NeeK here.
Welcome to the Chronicle, the dev log for myr.quest. This is where I post updates about what’s being built, what’s coming next, and occasional ramblings about design decisions.
What is myr.quest?
Started as a personal project. I wanted a habit tracker that felt like an RPG, something that made daily check-ins feel meaningful rather than tedious. Most habit apps felt too clinical. I wanted something with soul.
So I built myr.quest. The name comes from “my request” and “my quest”. It’s your year, your quest.
The Four Elements
The elemental system isn’t just decoration. I genuinely organize my own habits by element:
- Air for learning and mental health
- Fire for work output and challenges
- Water for relationships and rest
- Earth for physical health and routines
It helps me see when I’m out of balance. Too much Fire (work) without Water (rest) = burnout. The elements are a lens for self-awareness.
Work in Progress
This is very much a work in progress. Features are being added constantly. Things will break. The UI will change. That’s the nature of building in public.
If you’re here, you’re an early explorer of Myr. Thank you for that. Your feedback shapes what this becomes.
More updates soon.
