The 3D View shows your progress as a visual character. Here’s what it represents.
What You’re Seeing
Your 3D character is a representation of your journey in Myr. It visualizes:
- Your elemental balance - Which elements you’ve been focusing on
- Your progression - How far you’ve come in your quest year
- Your achievements - Unlocked skills may affect your character’s appearance
Reading the View
The character’s appearance reflects your elemental distribution:
- Heavy in Air? Expect ethereal, light qualities
- Heavy in Fire? Expect bold, intense features
- Heavy in Water? Expect flowing, calm aspects
- Heavy in Earth? Expect grounded, solid presence
Why It Exists
The 3D view exists because:
- Progress should be visible - Numbers are great, but sometimes you want to see your growth
- It’s motivating - Watching your character evolve encourages continuation
- It’s fun - This is a quest, after all. Let’s make it feel like one.
PS1 Aesthetic
You might notice the character has a deliberately retro, low-poly look. This is intentional - inspired by classic PS1-era RPGs and that weird, wonderful aesthetic of early 3D games.
We’re not trying to be Pixar. We’re trying to capture that nostalgic feeling of games like Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, and Parappa the Rapper. Weird, charming, memorable.
